Client: www.edingtonshapwickschool.co.uk, specialist dyslexic school based in Shapwick Somerset.
Brief: To build, design and launch a new website that encompassed the schools core values, gained top rankings for the term 'dyslexic school' in Google and to create and manage Google ad words.

The new website launched on the 28th January 08
The launch objectives were:
- To be found when searched for online in free and paid for Google searches
- To raise the profile of the School and create a good first impression
- To support the School
- To increase pupil numbers
Meeting objectives
Driving traffic
- The new website was been optimised for and submitted to search engines for the purpose of generating traffic from search engines namely Google and Yahoo
- We set up a Google Ad Words account
- The website appears in position 1 ‘dyslexic school’, ‘specialist dyslexia school’ and position 2 for ‘specialist dyslexic school’
- The website is now the main driver of pupils to the school
- Website traffic has more than tripled since going live
Supporting the school
- The new website is regularly updated with photos, events and news
- The website is found when searched for
- The number of website enquiries has increased since launch
- All online activity is been tracked using Google Web Analytics and monthly reports produced
Result:
Google ranked edingtonshapwickschool.co.uk in position 6 for ‘dyslexic school’ (among numerous other keywords within one week of launching). It normally takes Google 3-6 months to list a new website address within it's natural traffic rankings (natural traffic is also known as SEO, free search engine traffic and organic traffic). Edingtonshapwickschool.co.uk was ranked in number one position by Google within 6 weeks and has remained there ever since.
